[Correlation across replicated environments] adds a whole new dimension of complexity of the environment, ... You would expect most application groups to have the same set of policies. In reality, you have differences in policies. That reflects back to that whole process of manual storing in the environment.
My shows are planned and scripted only so far as it allows me to lose the sense of where I am and get wrapped up in what I'm doing. Every night, I want to get that feeling of being surprised by what's coming out (onstage).
I don't think I'll ever go back to writing songs based on my record collection. Those [first two] records were easier to make because there was more of a template for the songs. They were dictated by what kind of music I was listening to.
